As a Resident Member of

The Woodlands
at
DeerHaven Hills

You'll Have the Best of All Worlds:

  • Your 95-acre "backyard" will be a combination park, natural forest, wildlife sanctuary and income producer that can help offset future living expenses

  • Your neighbors will be vegetarian who share your environmental concerns ...

  • You'll have all the beauty of a rural lifestyle, but all the amenities of living in a cosmopolitan area ...

  • You'll live in a spectacular setting whose value should continue to grow over the years ...

  • You'll own your own townhome -- sell it later or pass it down to your heirs ...

... Yes, if you want to sell your townhome you can -- we may even be able to help you do it. There is only one requirement. To actually live here, each resident must be a vegetarian. Or, if you can't live here just now, but simply want to invest in it for your future, we'll help you rent it to a non-smoking vegetarian, if you'd like.

Moon Over The Mountains

Country Living ...
But With ALL the Amenities!

To gain such natural beauty, you would think you'd have to be out in the boondocks, right? Well, you'd be wrong. This unique community and its eco-friendly, meatless lifestyle -- with its spectacular views of rolling meadows and fields, forests and the Blue Ridge mountains, beyond -- is close to every amenity you'll ever need or want.

Within a short drive, you can reach doctors, hospitals, supermarkets with large organic food selections, car dealerships, health food stores, shopping malls and more ...

Plus you're just 45 minutes from either Asheville or Greenville -- both very cosmopolitan cities. Only a little further away is Charlotte. Half an hour brings you to either Hendersonville or Spartanburg. Or if you're really feeling the need for a metropolis, Greater Atlanta begins less than a three hour drive away.

International airports? Charlotte and Greenville are both very close -- each an hour away, more or less.

Over the next decade, the western Carolinas are likely to become the most desirable region in which to live in the eastern United States. For aside from their awesome beauty, coastal living grows less attractive each year due to overcrowding, global warming, rising sea levels, soaring costs from disastrous storms and other such factors.

Given all that, we think investing and moving here is not only an earth-kindly, ethical use of your housing dollars -- it may also be very wise. Apparently other people think so, too. There are already two top-name designer golf-course communities being developed a few miles from here. More development is on its way.

Bottom line: DeerHaven Hills is one of the premier properties in a most prestigious part of America. Whether you're already retired ... an empty-nester planning for your future ... or a younger vegetarian family raising children of conscience, at The Woodlands at DeerHaven Hills, you'll find a lifestyle that matches your environmental, ethical and dietary beliefs.

Benefits of Living in this
Unique Eco-Community:

  • Annual weather that many believe is the best in the world -- we're located at 1100 feet elevation in an "isothermal belt" which keeps temperatures moderate all year long ...

  • Connect with like-minded neighbors who share your dietary convictions and environmental concerns - ALL residents (spouses, parents and children) are screened for their vegetarian commitments ...

  • Enjoy the stunning views of fields, forests, hills and mountains from every part of this property ...

  • Grow your own organic produce, if you'd like -- or perhaps buy fresh vegetables from one of your resident neighbors who grows them in our large, fertile garden.

  • Organic blueberries and muscadine grapes are being farmed here commercially right now, plus many varieties of wild herbs, fruit and nut trees throughout our woods and meadows

  • Organic food buying co-op already established and active within our neighborhood ...

  • Several upscale retirement communities nearby (for any loved ones with whom you may wish to remain geographically close) ...

  • Volunteer or limited income-producing opportunities may be available even within our eco-community itself.

  • Home-based e-businesses are both permitted and encouraged ...

  • This is a high-quality lifestyle at an affordable price ...

The Woodlands at DeerHaven Hills Initial Mission Statement

It is our purpose to provide an environmentally-friendly residential community and sanctuary for vegetarian and vegan individuals and families. At the same time, we will provide sanctuary for the existing wildlife at DeerHaven Hills Farm by retiring the remaining, undeveloped land from any future development. We do this also to provide "green space" and retain the scenic beauty of this property for ourselves and our surrounding community.

(This Mission Statement may be expanded or refined but not changed in its basic context as the development of The Woodlands at DeerHaven Hills project continues).

The Woodlands at DeerHaven Hills Initial Vision Statement

We intend to be a model vegetarian eco-community after which other such environmentally-conscious communities may pattern themselves. We intend to use appropriate technology, sustainable methods and renewable resources whenever reasonably possible. We are earth-friendly people and express our concern for the well-being of our planet and its inhabitants by neither killing nor eating any creature that crawls, walks or runs away, swims away or flies away.

(This Vision Statement may be expanded or refined but not changed in its basic context as the development of The Woodlands at DeerHaven Hills project continues).
